I can't speak for my cohort, but I have tendancies to vanish for a few months. If we miss you, I'm really sorry. I'm going to try to be around more often, personally.

Thank you for all the lovely pictures of such graceful kittens dancing for their freedom.

Hello, everyone! I'm looking for someone interested in writing a death row hanging, complete with arrest, sentencing, and waiting before the Big Day.

The plot I have in mind involves a modern Duchess being sent to the gallows - as the first woman to hang in decades! If interested, send me a not.

For those commenting here, degrading it for its subject, art is art. Personally, i have a story that involves hangings and whatnot, but, for most people(i think) that's what these pictures are of, stories, and though some have a fetish of it, perhaps its a result of them having their own conflicted feelings of life and death? i can't speak for everyone, but to me, it's a stress reliever to draw these things out, i feel choked by my emotions, but i dont wish to die, and i find pride in my work by creating a story surrounding immortality and hangings. And i do like the art/pictures, so long as noone is ACTUALLY hurt, because it is a terrible thing in the REAL world. a very very terrible thing, and it saddens me when people do say they actually want to do these things irl, and i dont support the sexual aspect of it but again, i'm not one to judge. That's what art is for, to portray one's imagenations and emotions. Real life problems are tragic, and to remind us that, we need to continue on no matter what and support each other, so that we don't actually fall into the hanging. But for those who need ways to vent out their emotions, for the sake of feeling BETTER, leave it be? If this makes any sense at all. I'm terrible when it comes to speeches lol.

To build upon a few of the comments that you’ve made here I don’t think that anyone who posts images or stories here has the slightest delusion that these are anything but fantasies or that they represent behavior that is in any way acceptable in real life. Certainly I don’t though I find a lot of them inexplicably, perhaps accidentally erotic, without being able to explain why. The art I’ve posted here myself is nothing more than my own attempt to explore this dark eroticism that I don't properly understand, though I doubt I will ever find an answer to why I find this erotic in the first place.

I grant that the imagery and literature contained in this group will no doubt be disturbing to some, but the same stuff would in no way be out of place in many a horror film or story.  In fact, they would be very mild by the standards of some of films of this genre, and so I find it odd that people who probably understand that horror films are essentially just a story; a fantasy and not reality are unable to arrive at the same conclusions when seeing some of the images or reading the stories being posted here.

It's probably different for everyone. I have tried to hang myself several times. As in, to die. And I'll hear people go 'oh it's so terrible you have no idea' and really...if I can gtfo it, they need to as well. I've been traumatized all throughout my life and I don't need the pity party some people do.
I've been obsessed with death since a REALLY young age.
It started with an Atari comic. Some...girl thing gets shot through the belly with some laser and she dies. I was very attracted to it. And then the videogame Dig Dug. The images they drew of the Pooka and the Dragon looking terrified and sad at their impending demise...almost embarrassed to be inflated to bursting point... I was deeply captivated by it.
I also am a voraphile and was since 1983 when I was 4 years old and was strangely fond of watching my fish eat each other. I really enjoyed it.
As such, I find myself attracted now as an adult, to peril and 'impending demise'. Not so much the being dead part, but the act of dying.
There's something so carnal and sublime rooted deeply into my sub-conscience that triggers when some girl is about to be eaten alive, or some furry about to short dropped.
I realize how unhealthy it sounds but that's what I like. And I know a fair number of others are similar.
The problem with a that unless you have that fetish, you will not understand it.
Like ladies' shoes. I don't understand that fetish at all. And that is way more bizarre than the intimacy of dying.
