Greetings members and watchers, and again welcome back to the renewed Beautiful Noose Group. I had requested some test submissions of noose and hanging related works previously, but then I was informed that nobody probably saw it as I had done so in the admin area after I had bumped everyone to the Member category, which is not technically admin. Consequently I'm still not sure how most of the group's features or controls work.
If anyone has any deviations of their own, or favorites from others that they'd like to submit, please do so in order that I can figure out just how non-admin submissions work. Also, does anyone know if it's possible to leave submission/membership requests with no expiration timer so that some of the people who may not check dA very often will still have their invitations available when they do come back around?
I'm still figuring out how to operate all the functions of the dA groups. I'm anticipating that I will end up deleting the reposted deviations that I had originally put here with the redirects to their original artists' pages. I will instead use the featured function to directly add existing works. This way I can possibly invite other people to post their works more easily than before.
Welcome to Beautiful Noose, the club that examines the true, if often unintentional beauty present in images of hangings. The subject matter of this group is artwork or photography that either depicts hangings, regardless of the presence of a noose, or a piece heavily focused on a noose.
If you are interested in joining as a Contributing Member, just send a note to this account, linking to your hanging-themed deviation(s). It is required that you devWatch this page, but placing a link in your journal as an icon is optional. In return, your works will be reposted here, along with a link back to your gallery and deviation in the deviation description.
The administrator is regrettably unable to maintain a devwatch on every contributing member to be on the lookout for new works, so please send a note indicating any such new works as needed.
As a special consideration, please make any comments or favorites in the original artists' deviation pages.
Comments are disabled in the deviations themselves to help with this.

Member icons are now preceded by an arbitrary two-letter abbreviation which shall serve to identify the creators of artwork by title alone.

I assure you that this group is still alive and well. Forgive my reluctance to use a pun on the theme of this group to express the group's state of well-being.
As you see above, I've added some arbitrary abbreviations to everyone's icons, and will shortly be adding these abbreviations to all of the deviation titles in the group. I apologize for the torrent of what will appear as reposts if you are devwatching this group's deviations.
As always, this group is looking for new submissions, so if you have any, or know of any good ones that I've missed here, let me know.

Current members, if you create any new related deviations, be sure to also send a note. As much as the founder would like to keep the full watch on, he is currently suffering under dialup conditions, and with as many members as he hopes to gather, the message center could be very full if kept fully open.

I'm pleased to welcome all the new members. Just today we add ~ Origo-Mali and * hopelessfangirl to our ranks. Let us all enjoy the beauty of the noose.
As always, be on the lookout for new hanging or noose related artwork if you get the chance. If you see something you feel particularly fitting for this group, feel free to send the artist a note directing them to this group, or to myself (= DarthWoo) if they wish to join.
I hope you all like the new devID and avatar.
And again, since I can't stress this enough (not really for the members, but for the casual viewers who pass through and don't seem to see the previous warning and the warning in ALL the deviations):

The placeholder avatar is beginning to look much too plain lately. It's just a crop from my gallotine drawing. I've been thinking of some ideas for a new avatar to draw, and chief among them was a noose with a butterfly sitting on the loop. This I think would go well with the whole "Beautiful Noose" thing, but I'd like your opinions on it, since the avatar may be appearing in your journals.
I know there's more hanging artwork out there than was in my favorites, but since they've seen fit to remove the search engine even for subscribers, I am unable to again locate it. If anyone can help out by noting me with links to things I haven't yet posted here, I'd be grateful. Especially important are the images involving male hangings. For the moment, there's a severe lack of those.
SINCE A GREAT MANY PEOPLE CAN'T SEEM TO SEE OR READ THE NOTICE ALREADY IN THIS JOURNAL AND IN EACH DEVIATION, I AM FORCED TO REPEAT THIS:
DO NOT +FAV THE DEVIATIONS IN THIS CLUB - ADD YOUR +FAVS TO THE ORIGINAL DEVIATIONS, WHICH ARE CONVENIENTLY LINKED TO IN THE DEVIATIONS HERE.
